Ours is a story that smells of leather, salt, and sun.

Everything began in 1960, amidst the white narrow streets and blue silhouettes of Positano, with one man, Carmine Ruocco, and his passion for the craftsmanship of shoes and sandals. A trade made of precision, patience, and vision. An art he chose to pass on generously to his son Vincenzo, and which lives on today through the hands and heart of Lorenzo, the third generation of the family.

Nanà, the creative soul of the brand, has taken up this legacy and transformed it into a project that combines design, tailoring, and human warmth. Each model is designed by her and comes to life through collaboration with the best Italian artisan workshops. Nothing is left to chance: from the soles to the jewelry details, every element is chosen and crafted with the care and respect that well-made things deserve.

Everything starts with the material.
We select top-quality natural leather from the best tanneries in Tuscany, free of chemical treatments, with grains and small imperfections that attest to its authenticity. The soles are molded from this leather, then cut and stitched by hand in a historic sole factory in Campania.

For the upper, we use only genuine calfskin, also from Tuscany. Nanà prefers the satin finish version: slightly shimmering, soft, and lustrous, to give the sandals a refined touch as light as summer.

The jeweled details, on the other hand, are true miniature works of art. Made of brass, they are hand-soldered by master Neapolitan craftsmen, stone by stone, to create unique and harmonious designs. The plating — gold or silver — is entrusted to one of the best galvanizing shops in Vicenza, specializing in hypoallergenic and long-lasting treatments.

Handmade, Tailored for You: Every sandal is handcrafted to order, specifically for you. After your purchase, we will ask for a few photos of your foot to shape it to your measurements. Precisely because this is an exclusive and personalized creation, it is not possible to return or request a refund for sandals under any circumstances.

Adjustments for a Flawless Fit: Are the sandals a bit too loose or too tight? No problem! We offer an adjustment service to adapt them to your foot (please note that for these adjustments, we only ever work on the straps). These adjustments are not free: the costs for home collection and return shipping are the responsibility of the customer.

Collection Management and Shipping Costs: To perform an adjustment, we conveniently organize home collection via our courier. The total cost of the service (collection + return shipping) is €25 for Italy, €60 for Europe, and €95 for the United States. For the USA and non-EU countries, any customs duties are always the responsibility of the customer. (Note: Returns for a refund are possible within 14 days, exclusively for clothing items and jewelry).

Shipping times: all models are made after the order is placed to ensure a handcrafted and unique result. Regular shipments are made in 1-5 days, while express shipments take 1-3 days. All deliveries are insured and, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, may be delayed by a maximum of 24 hours. Tracking is free and can be viewed via your account, email, or SMS with valid contact information.

Any customs duties and taxes applied in the destination country are entirely the responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping rates for Italy: express delivery is available in 1-3 business days at a cost of €19, while standard delivery takes 4-5 business days and is free of charge.

Shipping rates for the United States of America and the rest of the world: express delivery is available in 1-3 business days at a cost of €19 and standard delivery in 4-5 business days is free; in any case, customs duties are not included in the price and are always the responsibility of the customer based on their country of delivery.

Shipping rates for the European Union: standard delivery takes 4-5 business days at a cost of €25, with no duties to be paid.
